Sawa House is a light-filled creative space designed for production, events, and thoughtful work. The house is calm, functional, and intentionally minimal,present without being distracting.

Built around an appreciation for detail and good design, the space was created to support ideas rather than define them. Each room is adaptable, allowing for a range of uses while maintaining a consistent, understated feel.

Natural light, clean lines, and carefully selected furnishings make Sawa House a reliable backdrop for photo, video, and small gatherings. The space is well maintained, secure, and easy to work in.

Our spacious, welcoming loft is located in the heart of Montreal, in the Plateau’s creative hub at Gaspé and Casgrain. Fully furnished and featuring a unique LED light ceiling, the space is ideal for events, content creation, photo and video shoots, podcasts, and bridal parties.

Important Details

  • Please note that our space is not soundproof.

    Located on the 4th floor of a commercial loft building in the Plateau area of Montreal, the premises are shared with other tenants. We kindly ask that all sound and music be kept at a reasonable level out of respect for our neighbors.

    Failure to comply with this policy may result in a warning and, if the issue persists, removal from the premises.

  • The space features tall, loft-style, ceiling-height windows that provide abundant natural light throughout the day. Natural light is at its strongest during the early hours, with indirect sunlight filling the studio most dramatically from early morning until approximately 1:00 PM. In the afternoon, the light remains soft and pleasant, though less direct.

    For projects requiring a nighttime atmosphere, we recommend scheduling your shoot after sunset. The studio is also equipped with LED ceiling lighting, which is available for use both day and night.

    The space is available until 12:00 AM.

  • Convenient parking options are available on De Gaspé and Casgrain Avenues, with metered street parking offered throughout the area. Hours and rates vary by zone and are typically enforced during daytime hours.

    In addition, several private paid parking facilities are located nearby, including De Gaspé Parking (5445 De Gaspé Avenue) and parking options in the Parc De Gaspé area (6655 De Gaspé Avenue). We recommend checking posted signage to ensure compliance with local regulations.

    Sawa House is not responsible for booted or towed vehicles. Please read all signs before leaving your car.
